First of all, I am a huge Boston Legal fan. This show always raises issues that are timely and controversial, and at times bizarre. From Alzheimer’s Disease to salmon farming to the rising mortgage rates.
Tonight they were throwing out statistics about the extensive assembly process of hybrid cars. They suggest that the cars travel the planet so much in the assembly process they may waste as much petroleum as they save. They also referred to the corn based gas additive that is in such widespread use. They say one tank of it has enough calories to sustain a person for a year. There were a few more random statistics that I don’t recall.
Does anyone know anything about these topics? I doubt the Boston Legal folks are making it up out of thin air, but there are always two sides…
